About the Role

We are currently seeking a full time Broadcast Engineer to join our dedicated team.  

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Conduct effective handovers to ensure seamless continuation of operations.
  • Contribute to the ticket stack (ServiceNow) to ensure tickets are being responded to, kept up to date and resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of staff new to assist them in attaining operational proficiency.
  • Work with TBS Project teams to validate documentation and training for support handover.
  • Provide additional support to other technical areas within the greater TBS business and Telstra when requested.
  • Maintaining a cohesive and harmonious work environment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes using approved Telstra Service Management Tools.
  • Maintaining job proficiency and understanding of customer service requirements.
  • Other tasks and duties as required.

The ideal applicant will possess:

 

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to recognise early signs of service degradation and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer focus with the ability to engage professionally with Telstra Broadcast Services customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including the ability to work rotating rosters and flexible schedules.
  • Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and world’s best practice service delivery.
