About the Role
We are currently seeking a full time Planning and Resource Lead to join our dedicated team.
Drive workforce planning, capacity management and delivery readiness across a growing technology and broadcast business.
At Telstra Broadcast Services, we're looking for a strategic and commercially minded Planning & Resource Lead to establish and lead enterprise-wide resource planning, utilisation and capacity management. Working across Sales, Delivery, Product, Technology, Finance and People teams, you'll ensure the right capabilities are in place to support customer commitments, strategic initiatives and future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve the organisation's resource planning and capacity management framework.
- Develop forward-looking workforce and capacity plans aligned to the sales pipeline, delivery roadmap and strategic priorities.
- Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to assess resource requirements, delivery feasibility and risks for upcoming opportunities.
- Monitor resource utilisation, allocation and workforce performance, identifying capacity constraints and optimisation opportunities.
- Analyse current and future capability requirements, providing recommendations on hiring, contractor engagement, upskilling and workforce deployment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on workforce capacity, delivery readiness and investment decisions.
- Partner with Finance on workforce forecasting, utilisation modelling and budget planning.
- Lead resource planning governance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide executive-level insights, dashboards and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive the effective use of workforce planning tools, including Asana Workforce Management.
About You
The ideal applicant will possess:

Proven experience in resource management, workforce planning or capacity planning within a delivery-focused environment.

Strong understanding of project, program and product delivery models.

Experience supporting sales pipelines and project delivery through resource forecasting and planning.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate demand, capacity and utilisation data into actionable insights.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across Sales, Delivery, Product, Operations, Finance and People teams.

Experience preparing executive-level reporting, dashboards and recommendations.

Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience in technology, broadcast, professional services or large-scale delivery environments (desirable).

Familiarity with workforce planning, resource management or PPM tools (desirable).

Exposure to financial modelling, utilisation management and commercial decision-making (desirable).
