About the Role

Help shape and enhance the products that power Australia's leading broadcast and media services.

 

We're looking for a Product Owner to support the ongoing delivery, enhancement and optimisation of our media products and service platforms. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Service Delivery, Sales and Product teams, you'll translate customer and business needs into prioritised delivery outcomes that improve product functionality, customer experience and operational performance.

 

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys bringing together business, customer and technical requirements to drive successful outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business and customer needs.
  • Translate customer, operational and technical requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery plans.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Delivery teams to support successful feature delivery and remove blockers.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery reviews and acceptance testing activities.
  • Drive product enhancements, service improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Gather and assess customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve usability, reliability and service outcomes.
  • Maintain product roadmaps, release documentation and operational readiness artefacts.
  • Support product launches, enhancements and service changes through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to ongoing product lifecycle management to ensure services remain fit-for-purpose and operationally effective.

 

About You

The ideal applicant will possess:

 

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Delivery or Service Delivery professional within a technology-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, backlog management, prioritisation and requirements gathering.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Operations and Customer-facing functions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business, customer and technical requirements into clear delivery outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in media, broadcast, telecommunications, managed services, cloud or software platforms (desirable).
