About the Role

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. The Sales Operations Specialist will play a key role in improving efficiency and operational excellence by helping to drive growth and streamlining operational processes.

 

This is a hybrid role with flexibility to be based in either Melbourne or Sydney. You’ll work closely with a Melbourne-based manager, with office locations in both cities.

 

In the Sales Operations Specialist position, you will be responsible for duties across 5 key areas including: Contract Governance & Registry; Sales Support & Administration; Process Improvement; Data & Reporting; and Enablement & Coordination.

 

Other key duties include:

  • Establish and maintain a centralised Contract Registry that is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Ensure all contracts, amendments, renewals, and associated documentation are properly recorded and auditable.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for contract data integrity and compliance with internal governance standards.
  • Manage CRM data integrity and ensure accurate opportunity and account records.
  • Prepare and distribute regular sales performance and pipeline reports for leadership visibility.
  • Support billing audits and assist with dispute resolution processes.
  • Identify bottlenecks in sales workflows and recommend automation or process enhancements.
  • Implement streamlined practices to reduce manual effort and improve team productivity.
  • Assist with sales enablement initiatives, including tools training and compliance checks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure smooth deal execution and customer experience.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

About You

The ideal applicant will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration/Management.
  • Experience in contract management or governance within a sales or commercial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data management best practices.
  • Background in process improvement and workflow optimisation.
  • Proven track record in managing contract data integrity and compliance.
  • Experience supporting sales teams with operational and administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with sales performance metrics, pipeline reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of contract governance, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Well-developed organisational skills – demonstrated ability to manage across functions and meet goals and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
